Norwayne Accident: 1 died, 4 hurt in Creston, OH car crash involving Norwayne School District’s Hs/Ms students

 A tragic accident in Creston, Ohio, involving students from Norwayne School District has left the community devastated. The crash, which occurred on a quiet stretch of road, claimed the life of one individual and left four others injured, sending shockwaves through the close-knit town. 

The victims involved in the accident were high school and middle school students from Norwayne School District, adding to the sorrow and grief felt by the entire school community and beyond.

The accident took place in the late afternoon, when a car carrying the students veered off the road. Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene, where they found the vehicle severely damaged. Despite the quick arrival of first responders, one person was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. 

Four others were transported to nearby hospitals with varying degrees of injuries. Authorities have not yet released the names of the individuals involved, out of respect for the families and as investigations continue into the cause of the crash.

In the aftermath of the accident, the Norwayne School District has expressed its deep sorrow and extended its support to the families of those affected. 

Counselors have been made available to students and staff to help cope with the emotional impact of the tragedy. The district has also asked for privacy and prayers for the families during this incredibly difficult time.

Vigils and memorials are being planned as people seek to honor the memory of the student who lost their life and to offer hope and healing to those still recovering from their injuries.
