Obituary and Death Report: Gabe Harvey and Kristina Folkerts Killed in Tragic SUV Crash at Park Tavern The community of Minneapolis is mourning the loss of two beloved individuals, Gabe Harvey and Kristina Folkerts, who were tragically killed in a devastating SUV crash at Park Tavern on September 1, 2024. 

The accident has left friends, family, and coworkers heartbroken as they come to terms with the sudden and shocking loss of these two cherished lives. Gabe and Kristina were both dedicated members of their respective workplaces and well-loved in their communities.

Gabe Harvey, 31, was a dedicated Health Unit Coordinator at Methodist Hospital. Known for his tireless work ethic, compassion, and deep commitment to patient care, Gabe was a beloved member of the hospital staff. 

He had a reputation for going above and beyond to ensure the comfort and well-being of those he served. Outside of work, Gabe was passionate about hiking, spending time with his family, and supporting local sports teams. 

His warmth, kindness, and sense of humor made him a joy to be around, and his absence will be deeply felt by his colleagues, patients, friends, and family.

Kristina Folkerts, 28, worked as a waiter at Park Tavern, where she was known for her vibrant personality and strong work ethic. Kristina had an infectious smile and was well-loved by patrons and coworkers alike. 

Outside of her work at the tavern, Kristina was an aspiring photographer, spending her free time capturing the beauty of everyday moments. Her adventurous spirit and generosity made her a friend to many, and her tragic death has left a void in the hearts of those who knew her.

In addition to the deaths of Gabe and Kristina, the crash left three other victims seriously injured: Theo Larson, Tegan D’Albani, and Laura Knutsen. All three are receiving medical care, and their families are asking for privacy during this difficult time.

As the community grapples with the tragedy, vigils and memorials are being planned in honor of Gabe and Kristina, who will be remembered for their kindness, dedication, and the positive impact they had on those around them.
