Michael's journey began in Miami, where he attended Miami Palmetto High School. He was an avid lacrosse player and made many lasting friendships. Following high school, Michael pursued a degree in finance at Florida State University. During his time at FSU, he was a proud member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity, where his fraternity brothers became a second family to him.

Shortly after graduating, Michael joined Raymond James Headquarters in St. Petersburg.
