One person is dead and another is injured after being stabbed late Friday in the area of the Northbridge Town Common. District Attorney Joe Early and Police Chief Timothy Laurie said the situation began with an emergency call reporting multiple stabbings at approximately 9:25 p.m. Police arrived to what was described as a “chaotic scene.”
Two victims suffering stab wounds were transported to UMass Memorial in Worcester. One 20-year-old victim has died, and a 17-year-old is in critical condition.
Police have a juvenile male in custody. His identity was not released because of his age. He will be arraigned on Monday in Worcester Juvenile Court.
