Sarah Francisco, a. Beloved teacher at Champlain Valley Union High School has sadly passed away. She holds both her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Communication Disorders from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. Throughout her professional journey, Sarah has engaged with diverse populations and various disorders.
Her expertise spans across roles as an SLP in public and charter schools, preschools, overseeing graduate students at The E.M. Luse Center (the University of Vermont's on-campus clinic), and managing her private practice.
Following a hiatus as a stay-at-home mom, Sarah embarked on a new chapter at CVU, initially as a long-term substitute. Reflecting on this decision, she considers it serendipitous and remains grateful for the opportunity.
At CVU, Sarah thrives on cultivating connections with her students and colleagues, while also serving as an advisor. Residing in Williston with her family and two dogs, Sarah balances her professional life with personal interests such as traveling, gardening, and running.
