Carly Rose Friedman, known for her adventurous spirit and zest for life, peacefully passed away on April 5, 2024, in her hometown of Tampa, FL, at the age of 25.

Born on May 26, 1998, to Karen and Scott Friedman, Carly's vibrant essence and boundless enthusiasm for life shone bright from early on. 

Growing up alongside her cherished brother Chance, Carly forged an unbreakable bond and countless treasured memories with him.

Carly's connection with the ocean was more than just a hobby; it was her true calling. As a licensed boat captain, she navigated the waters with skill and purpose matched by few. 

Beneath the waves, Carly's prowess as an underwater hunter and spearfishing instructor was legendary. Her love for the sea ran deep, and she found solace and adventure in its embrace.

Renowned for her strength and courage, Carly was a beacon of resilience, yet she also possessed a gentle and nurturing spirit known to those closest to her.

Carly leaves behind a legacy of inspiration and love, deeply cherished by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. 

Her parents, Karen and Scott, and her brother Chance will forever hold Carly's memory close to their hearts.

Though Carly's earthly journey has come to an end, the impact of her life will echo on. She taught us to embrace life's adventures, to find strength in diversity, and to pursue our passions with unwavering determination.

Her memory will forever guide those who seek to live boldly and love deeply. As the sun sets on her time with us, we find comfort in the knowledge that Carly's spirit will continue to illuminate our paths, much like the guiding light she was on the seas she cherished.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, April 11th, at Congregation Schaarai Zedek. (3303 W. Swann Ave, Tampa)
