Two people are dead and four others injured following a two-vehicle crash in Winslow Township, Camden County, New Jersey on Sunday. Ameera Lewis, a mother of three, was killed alongside her partner in the accident that occured around 3 p.m. on Sicklerville Road near Sheridan Drive. Their three children were left with varying degrees of injury.

According to initial reports from the Winslow Township Police Department, the accident occurred when one of the vehicles veered into oncoming traffic, though investigators have yet to determine the exact cause. Witnesses at the scene described a chaotic and devastating aftermath, with bystanders attempting to provide aid until emergency responders arrived.  

Ameera Lewis, 32, was a devoted mother who was deeply loved by her family and community. She and her partner, whose identity has not yet been released, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their three children, ranging in age from 4 to 10, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Two other individuals involved in the crash, occupants of the second vehicle, were also injured and taken to the hospital, though their conditions have not been publicly disclosed.  

Friends and family have expressed their grief on social media, remembering Lewis as a loving mother who worked tirelessly to provide for her children. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support her children’s medical expenses and funeral costs.  

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether speed, weather conditions, or potential driver impairment played a role. Officials urge anyone with information to come forward.  

The community of Winslow Township is mourning the loss of Lewis and her partner, with local residents calling for increased traffic safety measures in the area. A vigil is planned for later this week to honor the victims and offer support to the grieving family.
