Brady Bridges Carthage MO Accident : Brady Bridges Death : Brady Grant Passed Away On April 6

Brady Grant Bridges, a beloved resident of Carthage, Missouri, passed away in an accident on April 6, 2024. Born on September 28, 1989, in Joplin, Missouri, Brady was the cherished son of Mark and Carlene Bridges.



He proudly graduated from Carthage High School in 2008 before pursuing his passion for education at Missouri Southern State University, where he earned a degree in Business Education in 2012. 

Brady continued his academic journey, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University in 2020. 

A Devoted Family Man

On May 23, 2009, Brady married the love of his life, Beth Bridges, with whom he shared an unwavering bond. Together, they welcomed two beautiful children into the world, Hattie and Grant Bridges, who were the lights of Brady's life. 

As a devoted husband and father, Brady's love and devotion knew no bounds. His infectious humor and quick wit could brighten any room, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Passions and Pursuits 

Brady had a zest for life and a myriad of interests. A die-hard fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Brady's enthusiasm for football was unmatched. He also had a talent for woodworking and enjoyed crafting beautiful pieces with his hands. 

However, Brady's greatest joy came from caring for his family and indulging in his favorite comfort food—chicken wings. Known for his generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand, Brady touched the lives of countless friends and family members with his kindness and compassion. 

Remembered with Love 

Brady is survived by his loving wife, Beth, and their children, Hattie and Grant Bridges. He is also survived by his parents, Mark and Carlene Bridges, and his maternal grandparents, William and Donna Knight. Brady leaves behind three adoring brothers, Colby (Brittany) Bridges, Adam (Shelly) Bridges, and Drew (Morgan) Bridges, as well as his cherished in-laws, Larry and Becky Scholes, and brothers-in-law, Brad (Kelly) Scholes and Hunter Scholes. Additionally, Brady is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and former students who will forever cherish his memory. 

Celebration of Life 

A devoted Christian and active member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Carthage, Missouri, Brady's faith was an integral part of his life. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Ulmer Funeral Home from 6:00-7:00 PM, followed by a service on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Crossroads Baptist Church at 4:00 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brady Bridges’ College Fund, established for the benefit of Hattie and Grant Bridges, in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
