A beloved figure in Elizabeth City, Sheila leaves behind a legacy defined by her faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.Sheila lived a life grounded in love and service. For 38 years, she dedicated herself to Albemarle Hospital, where she was not only a respected colleague but also a comforting presence for patients and families. 

Her commitment to caring for others was evident in every role she undertook, and her colleagues remember her for her kindness, reliability, and the bright spirit she brought to even the most challenging days. Her work touched countless lives, making her loss deeply felt throughout the medical community.At home, Sheila’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her husband, Frederick,

 who was her constant companion and closest friend. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and mutual support. Sheila also adored her grandchildren, Sawyer and Audrey, who brought immense light into her life. Whether sharing stories, offering guidance, or simply enjoying time together, she embraced her role as a grandmother with warmth and pride.
