First responders arrived within minutes, but his injuries were too severe to treat. Despite extensive life-saving efforts from EMS, Browne was pronounced dead at the scene, his life cut short in a matter of seconds.Authorities confirmed that the driver, who immediately stopped and called 911, remained on the scene and fully cooperated with investigators. 

Police also noted that impairment and speeding were not believed to be factors in the crash, and no charges are expected at this time.
