Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 7:30 p.m. at the pier, which was crowded with families, locals, and visitors enjoying a summer evening by the ocean. Upon arrival, officers discovered several victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical teams were immediately dispatched to the scene to provide aid and transport the wounded to nearby hospitals.
