The incident occurred near Oxford Circus, prompting a swift response from emergency services after multiple reports were made to authorities shortly before 5 p.m.Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers arrived at the scene within minutes and discovered a male victim suffering from apparent stab wounds. 

London Ambulance Service quickly provided first aid at the scene before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital. His condition is currently described as serious but stable.The area around Oxford Circus was immediately cordoned off, causing significant disruption during peak hours as police worked to secure the scene and gather evidence. 

Witnesses described a chaotic scene, with shoppers fleeing in panic and businesses temporarily shutting their doors as the situation unfolded. Forensic teams could be seen combing the area for evidence well into the evening.At this stage, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not confirmed a motive. Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with video footage from the area to come forward.
