Missing Story Ramona Armstrong’s Disappearance: What We Know So Far

On March 29, 2025, 14-year-old Ramona Shanti Armstrong was reported missing from her home in northwest Bexar County, Texas. She was last seen around 3:45 a.m. in the 7600 block of Barhill Post Street, reportedly being picked up by 24-year-old Nathaniel Edward Gonzales. 

According to her parents, Ramona had informed her grandmother that she was going to the kitchen but instead left the house to meet someone at Bridgewood Park. Her father suspects that the individual, believed to be Gonzales, arrived via Uber and persuaded Ramona to accompany him. Authorities later tracked Ramona's phone and found it abandoned, raising immediate concerns for her safety. 

In response, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office issued an AMBER Alert and sought public assistance in locating Ramona and identifying the unknown male. The community's vigilance played a crucial role in the swift resolution of the case. 

By the evening of March 30, authorities successfully located Ramona and detained Gonzales for questioning. Sheriff Javier Salazar commended the collaborative efforts of various units within the sheriff’s office, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in such cases. 

This incident underscores the potential dangers of online interactions, especially for teenagers. Law enforcement officials have reiterated the importance of parental awareness regarding their children's online activities. 

They caution that individuals can easily misrepresent themselves online, posing significant risks to unsuspecting youths. Parents are encouraged to maintain open communication with their children about internet safety and to monitor their online engagements closely.
