David Noonan Omaha NE Death: David Noonan Dies in Fatal Nebraska Traffic Accident

David M. Noonan, aged 53, of La Vista, Nebraska, tragically lost his life in a head-on collision on Sunday, March 30, 2025. The accident occurred shortly before 1:45 p.m. on Highway 34 near 310th Street in Cass County. According to the Cass County Sheriff's Office, Noonan's westbound SUV veered into the eastbound lanes, colliding with a semi-truck driven by a 58-year-old man from Lincoln. 

Noonan was pronounced dead at the scene, while the semi-truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Bryan West Trauma Center in Lincoln. The incident remains under investigation by the Cass County Sheriff's Office and the Nebraska State Patrol. 

Born on November 11, 1971, David was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Noonan, and his brother, Bill Young. He is survived by his wife, Sara; their children, Luke, Will, and Libby; his mother, Donna Noonan-Kaura; and siblings, Danny Noonan (Julie), Michelle Young-Welter (Marty), and Randy Young. 

Services to honor David's life will be held at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, from 3 to 5 p.m., resuming at 6 p.m., followed by a Vigil Service at 7 p.m.
