Shocking and tragic—Eduardo Gamez, a 43-year-old man, was found slumped lifeless in his car on Chicago's Southwest Side.

 On January 14, 2025, Eduardo Gamez, a 43-year-old man, was found fatally shot inside his vehicle in Chicago's Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. The incident occurred late Tuesday night near the 5100 block of South California Avenue. 


Chicago police responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Gamez unresponsive in the driver's seat with multiple gunshot wounds. The Chicago Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene. 

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office later identified the victim as Eduardo Gamez. As of now, no suspects are in custody, and detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
