Belinda Fuentes Chicago IL Shooting, Death; 19-Year-Old Chicago IL Teenager Died after 13 Times Gunshots Near 47th and Damen

Belinda Fuentes, a 19-year-old from Chicago, tragically lost her life in a senseless act of gun violence after being shot 13 times near 47th and Damen. The incident, which occurred late Wednesday night, has left her family, friends, and the local community heartbroken and demanding answers.Authorities reported that Fuentes was walking home from a friend’s house when unknown assailants opened fire. 

Surveillance footage from the area captured the sound of multiple gunshots, followed by a car speeding away from the scene. Witnesses called 911 immediately, and first responders arrived to find Fuentes critically injured. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Belinda, described by those who knew her as a bright and caring young woman, had dreams of becoming a nurse. She recently graduated from high school and was preparing to enroll in community college to pursue her ambitions. 

Her family remembers her as a beacon of light with a contagious smile and a heart full of kindness. She often volunteered at local shelters and was passionate about making a difference in her community.
