Franklin, KY — Eric Green, 33, of Bowling Green, lost his life Sunday night when his Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer near the Flying J Travel Center.

Eric Green, a 33-year-old resident of Bowling Green, Kentucky, tragically lost his life on Sunday night, December 29, 2024, in a fatal collision involving his Harley Davidson motorcycle and a tractor-trailer near the Flying J Travel Center in Franklin.The accident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on U.S. 31W, close to the intersection with Interstate 65. 

According to preliminary reports from the Kentucky State Police (KSP), Green was traveling southbound on his motorcycle when he collided with a tractor-trailer attempting to make a left turn into the travel center. The impact was severe, and despite prompt emergency response, Green succumbed to his injuries at the scene. 

Eric Green was well-known in the Bowling Green community for his passion for motorcycles and his active involvement in local biking events.
