Brandon Wren Obituary, Beloved Native Of Salem, NY, Has Suddenly Passed Away – Death.

The Salem, New York community is mourning the sudden passing of Brandon D. Wren, a beloved son, brother, fiancé, and friend, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 35. Born on April 18, 1989, in Cambridge, New York, Brandon was a lifelong resident of Salem. He graduated from Salem Central School and furthered his education at Adirondack Community College and Hudson Valley Community College. 

Brandon's strong work ethic led him to a successful career in the waste management industry, dedicating 12 years to Ace Carting before spending the last three years at Casella Waste. Prior to this, he worked alongside his Uncle Ryan Kirchner, who mentored him and instilled in him a love for building. 

An avid outdoorsman, Brandon found joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. He cherished moments with his family and friends and valued the comfort of his home, which he shared with his fiancée, Caitlyn Bearor, and their two dogs, especially his beloved dog, Murphy. 

Brandon is survived by his parents, Lee Kirchner Wren and David Wren, both of Salem, NY; his siblings, Caroly (Andres) Wetzel of Jacksonville, FL, Candice (Karl) Sobylak of Latham, NY, Kalynn (Edwin) Droz of Glenville, NY, Cody Wren of Greenwich, NY, and Clayton Wren of Greenwich, NY; 

and his cherished nieces and nephews, Natasha, Isabelle, Jake, Valentina, Reese, Mateo, and Marco. He is also survived by his fiancée, Caitlyn Bearor of Argyle, NY. Brandon was predeceased by his aunts, Sue Kirchner and Ruth Kirchner. 

Calling hours to honor Brandon's life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McClellan-Gariepy Funeral Home, located at 19 East Broadway, Salem, NY 12865. Family, friends, and community members are invited to pay their respects and share memories of Brandon during this time. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Brandon's name to a charity of one's choice, reflecting his generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
