The tragic incident, which unfolded Monday evening on Garden Street, has left the community devastated and authorities determined to bring the perpetrator to justice.
According to law enforcement, Morales, 26, is considered armed and dangerous. He is believed to have fled the scene in a black SUV shortly after the shooting. Surveillance footage and eyewitness accounts have placed Morales at the location during the time of the crime.

A third victim, a man whose identity has not been disclosed, was injured in the attack and remains hospitalized in critical condition. His testimony is expected to play a key role in piecing together the events leading up to the tragedy.
Jessiah Mercado, a Springfield, Massachusetts, resident, was described by friends and family as a devoted mother with a bright future. Her infant son, Messiah, was affectionately known as a joyful and curious baby who brought light to everyone around him. The loss of both has left their family shattered.
