Kennedy but a lifelong advocate for human rights and social justice. Her death marks the end of an era for the Kennedy family and the many humanitarian causes she championed over her lifetime.

As the mother of eleven children, Ethel balanced her personal life with a steadfast commitment to public service. Chris, one of her children, often reflected on her resilience and compassion, describing her as the heart of their family.

Growing up in a household shaped by political service and activism, Chris witnessed firsthand his mother’s dedication to creating positive change in the world.

It was Ethel’s strong values and enduring commitment to service that influenced Chris to establish Top Box Foods, a nonprofit organization that seeks to provide affordable, healthy food to underserved communities.
