Obituary, Death: Shianta Kirby, 34, Identified as Home Invasion Suspect Fatally Shot by Homeowner on Rodman Road Near Lake City Florence County, South Carolina—The Florence County Coroner's Office has identified 34-year-old Shianta Kirby as the suspect fatally shot during an attempted home invasion on Rodman Road near Lake City. 

The incident, which occurred on the night of September 2, 2024, has left the local community shaken and is currently under investigation by the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

According to law enforcement reports, Kirby allegedly attempted to forcibly enter a residence on Rodman Road, a quiet area known for its close-knit community. The homeowner, who was inside at the time,
