Obituary: Death of Beloved Methodist Hospital Nurses Laura Thompson and Michael Davis in St. Louis Park Park Tavern Tragedy - Steven Frane Bailey Arrested for Criminal Vehicular Homicide After Fatal Crash Into Outdoor Patio

The Methodist Hospital community is grappling with immense grief following the tragic deaths of two beloved nurses, Laura Thompson and Michael Davis, who lost their lives in the horrific St. Louis Park Park Tavern incident. The devastating event unfolded when a vehicle, driven by 56-year-old Steven Frane Bailey, crashed into the outdoor patio of the popular Park Tavern, 

resulting in the untimely deaths of Laura and Michael, as well as injuries to several others. Bailey has since been arrested and charged with criminal vehicular homicide, a charge that underscores the gravity of the incident.

Laura Thompson, a dedicated and compassionate nurse, was known for her unwavering commitment to her patients and her warm, nurturing spirit. She had worked at Methodist Hospital for over a decade,
