San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was injured in a shocking attempted robbery in Union Square, San Francisco, on Friday evening. The 22-year-old, who has been turning heads with his promising performances during the preseason, was attacked while enjoying a night out in the popular downtown area.

According to reports from the San Francisco Police Department, Pearsall was approached by an assailant who attempted to steal his high-end Rolex watch.
