Robin Dale DuPape, age 62, passed away on August 20, 2024, at Western Peaks Hospital in Bountiful, Utah, surrounded by loved ones. Born on January 23, 1962, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, Robin was the beloved son of Robert and Jeanine DuPape. He grew up in a close-knit family, cherishing the values of hard work, resilience, and kindness, which he carried throughout his life.

Robin attended Rock Springs High School, where he was known for his academic excellence and participation in various sports, particularly football, where he showcased his leadership as the team’s captain.

After high school, Robin pursued a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wyoming, a field in which he would build a successful career spanning over three decades.

Robin’s professional journey took him to Utah, where he worked with several renowned engineering firms. His expertise and innovative thinking earned him respect among his peers and numerous accolades in the industry. However, it was his humility and willingness to mentor young engineers that truly set him apart.

Beyond his professional life, Robin was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He married the love of his life, Linda, in 1985, and together they raised three children, instilling in them the same values of integrity and compassion that Robin embodied.

His family was the center of his world, and he found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them about life, nature, and the importance of family.

An avid outdoorsman, Robin loved fishing, hiking, and camping in Utah’s beautiful landscapes. He had a deep appreciation for nature, often saying that it was in the mountains where he felt closest to God.

His faith was an integral part of his life, guiding him through the challenges he faced, especially during his battle with illness in his final years.

Robin leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who loved him.
