It is with deep sadness and heartfelt reflection that we announce the passing of Dr. Raymond Elmore, a beloved and esteemed OB/GYN in Santa Fe, whose dedication to women’s health and unwavering commitment to his patients left an indelible mark on the community. Dr. Elmore passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with illness. He was 67 years old.

Dr. Raymond Elmore’s career was defined by his passion for women’s health. Over the course of his distinguished career, spanning more than three decades, he provided compassionate and expert care to countless women, guiding them through some of the most significant moments of their lives. 

His expertise in obstetrics and gynecology was matched only by his deep empathy and genuine concern for the well-being of his patients. He was not just a doctor but a confidant, advisor, and advocate for those he served.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Elmore was known for his tireless work in advancing women’s healthcare in Santa Fe and beyond. He was a strong proponent of accessible, high-quality care for all women, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Dr. Raymond Elmore’s legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and excellence. He leaves behind a community that is richer for having known him and a void that will be deeply felt. A celebration of Dr. Elmore’s life will be held at a later date, where family, friends, and colleagues will gather to honor the extraordinary life he lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to organizations supporting women’s health initiatives, reflecting the cause he dedicated his life to.
