Dwayne Tillman Obituary Dwayne Tillman, a promising young student from Watervliet, Michigan, has tragically passed away at the age of 17. Dwayne, a senior at Watervliet High School, died unexpectedly on August 4, 2024, leaving his family, friends, and the entire school community in deep mourning.

Dwayne was a beloved member of Watervliet High School, known for his vibrant personality and dedication to his academic and extracurricular pursuits. He was an outstanding student, excelling in both his studies and his role as a member of the school's basketball team. 

Dwayne’s passion for basketball was evident in his commitment to practice and his enthusiasm during games, where he was often a key player. His teammates and coaches remember him as a hardworking and supportive individual who always encouraged those around him.

In addition to his achievements on the court, Dwayne was an active participant in various school clubs and community service projects. His leadership and enthusiasm were evident in his involvement with the 

student council, where he worked tirelessly to improve the school experience for his peers. Dwayne was also known for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand, qualities that endeared him to many.

The circumstances surrounding Dwayne's passing are still under investigation, but his sudden departure has left a profound impact on everyone who knew him. The Watervliet High School community is coming together to support his family and honor his memory during this challenging time.

A memorial service for Dwayne will be held on August 9, 2024, at the Watervliet High School auditorium, where students, teachers, and friends will gather to celebrate his life and contributions. 

In lieu of flowers, the Tillman family requests that donations be made to a scholarship fund in Dwayne’s name, which will support future students in their educational endeavors and honor his legacy of academic excellence and community spirit.
