His unexpected death has left his family, friends, and community heartbroken. Bill was known for his unwavering dedication to his family, his infectious laughter, and his generous spirit.
Born on March 10, 1980, in Oregon City, Bill was the cherished son of John and Linda Dryden.

From a young age, Bill exhibited a love for nature and a passion for helping others. He graduated from Oregon City High School in 1998 and went on to earn a degree in Environmental Science from Oregon State University.

His commitment to preserving the environment was a defining aspect of his life and career.

Bill married the love of his life, Sarah, in 2005. Together, they built a loving home and welcomed two wonderful children, Emma and Jack.

Bill was a devoted husband and father who cherished every moment spent with his family. Weekends were often filled with outdoor adventures, camping trips, and family barbecues.

He instilled in his children a deep appreciation for nature and the importance of kindness and compassion.

Professionally, Bill worked as an environmental consultant, where he was highly respected for his expertise and dedication to sustainability.

He was actively involved in numerous conservation projects, always striving to make a positive impact on the world. His colleagues admired his work ethic and his ability to inspire others.

He volunteered at local schools, coached his son’s soccer team, and participated in various environmental initiatives.

His commitment to service and his genuine care for others touched many lives.

In response to Bill’s passing, his family has set up a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses and support causes that were important to him.

The outpouring of donations and heartfelt messages on the campaign page is a testament to the many lives he touched and the love he inspired.

In addition to his wife and children, Bill is survived by his parents, John and Linda, and his sister, Rachel. His absence leaves an irreplaceable void, but his legacy of love, kindness, and environmental stewardship will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A memorial service to honor Bill’s life will be held on July 22, 2024, at the Oregon City Community Center. The family invites all who knew Bill to join in celebrating his life and sharing memories of the joy he brought to others.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe campaign, supporting local environmental charities that Bill passionately supported.
