It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Kanzelberger, a cherished student at the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art. Thomas passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the age of 19. He had just completed his freshman year at Catholic University and was eagerly preparing to begin his sophomore year.
Thomas was pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with a special focus on music performance and conducting. His passion for music was evident in every note he played and every piece he conducted, leaving a lasting impact on his peers and professors alike. A 2023 graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School in Steubenville, Ohio, Thomas brought with him not only talent but also a spirit of dedication and enthusiasm that inspired those around him.
His love for Jesus and his devotion to his Catholic faith were cornerstones of his life. Thomas was known for his warm, joyous spirit that resonated throughout the school, touching the hearts of everyone he met.
