Her academic achievements were equally remarkable; she was awarded a Distinguished Academic Scholarship every semester and consistently named to the Kenyon College Merit List.
Julia received the Student-Athlete Award in the Fall of 2021 for having the highest semester GPA on the women’s soccer team. At Kenyon, she majored in sociology, with a minor in English and a concentration in women’s and gender studies. Julia was actively involved in campus life, as a member of the Zeta Alpha Pi Sorority, the Kenyon Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Athletes for Equality, and the Kenyon Student Council.
Julia's summers were equally productive and impactful. In 2022, she served as a United States Senate Intern for Senator Jack Reed in Washington, D.C. The following summer, she worked with Edelman Smithfield in their environmental, social, and governance advisory group in New York. She had recently accepted an internship position with Weber Shandwick, a public relations firm in New York, scheduled to begin in June 2024.
Julia’s dedication to social causes was evident early on, as she served as a peer educator for Planned Parenthood of Southern New England during high school.
