At 12:19 p.m., Concord police responded to a call for assistance from the school’s private security officer. What transpired during the meeting would leave a lasting scar on all involved. The meeting concluded around 12:45 p.m., seemingly routine until tragedy struck.
As the parent and student left the premises and headed towards their vehicle, a sudden and unforeseen event unfolded. The parent momentarily returned inside the school to retrieve an item, leaving the student unattended. In that brief window, the student accessed a handgun from within the vehicle.
