EBK Osama, a cherished sibling of EBK Jaaybo and a respected rapper, tragically passed away on Monday, April 29th, 2024, in a fatal shooting incident. The shooting occurred at an apartment complex in Sacramento’s Greenhaven neighborhood, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
The Sacramento Police Department received a distressing call around 2:45 a.m. reporting a man shot multiple times in the 6200 block of Riverside Boulevard. Despite efforts to save him, the victim succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to the hospital, as confirmed by Officer Anthony Gamble, a spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department.
Following an investigation, authorities determined that the gunfire erupted four blocks away at the Colony House Apartments on the 900 block of Johnfer Way. Two crime scenes were established: one where the victim's vehicle came to a stop and another where the shooting likely took place.
A resident of Johnfer Way reported to the police that they witnessed a truck hastily reversing out of the apartments moments after hearing a gunshot, providing crucial information for the ongoing investigation.
As of now, no suspects have been apprehended, and the police have not released any description of the assailant. The community is on edge, and there is a collective plea for justice for EBK Osama and his grieving family.
