According to officials, a youngster was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon due to a medical issue. Don Webster, HEMSI spokesperson, said the call came in at 2:47 p.m.
According to John Peck of Madison City Schools, a kid experienced a medical emergency during physical education class. Peck reported that staff and the school nurse responded swiftly.
"Within minutes, HEMSI, Madison Police and Madison Fire Department were on campus addressing the situation," according to the school district.
The student's parents were notified, and Webster stated that the child was taken to Huntsville Hospital Women and Children, where he was pronounced dead.
