Bismarck, ND - A community is in mourning following a fatal motorcycle accident that claimed the life of 18-year-old Logan Sampson. The incident occurred on Tuesday at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Century Avenue.
According to reports, Sampson, a resident of Bismarck, was traveling westbound on Century Avenue at a high rate of speed. As he approached the intersection with Arizona Drive, a truck heading southbound on Arizona Drive attempted to make a left-hand turn.
Lieutenant Jeff Solemsaas of the Bismarck Police Department described the collision: "The motorcycle struck the pickup truck in the left front wheel area, causing Sampson to be ejected from the bike."
