A courageous young mother, identified as Dr. Ashlee Good, tragically lost her life in the Sydney stabbing attack while attempting to protect her nine-month-old baby, Harriet. Dr. Good was pushing her baby through the Westfield Shopping Centre when the assailant attacked her.
Despite being fatally wounded, she managed to hand her bleeding infant to a passing stranger, pleading for them to save her baby. Tragically, Dr. Good succumbed to her injuries in the hospital.
Baby Harriet is currently in critical condition at St Vincent’s hospital, undergoing surgery as medical professionals fight to save her life.
Witnesses recount Dr. Good's desperate plea for help as she handed her baby over, with one individual describing the chaotic scene of blood and panic.
In a horrifying turn of events, a total of nine people, including Dr. Good's daughter, sustained knife wounds during the rampage before the assailant was fatally shot by a lone female police officer.
Just hours before the attack, Dr. Good shared a photo on Instagram, blissfully holding her baby, unaware of the tragic events that would soon unfold.
