On Monday 25th March 2024. the Ontario community suffer the loss of Christina Gurdial. Her untimely departure left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the community she so profoundly touched during her time on this earth. Christina exhibited a deep sense of empathy and an innate desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Whether it was volunteering at local shelters, advocating for marginalized communities, or simply lending a listening ear to those in need, Christina's altruistic spirit shone brightly, illuminating the lives of countless individuals.



Her passion for social justice and equality fueled her activism, driving her to champion causes close to her heart. Whether it was advocating for affordable housing, promoting mental health awareness, or supporting initiatives for gender equality, Christina's dedication to creating a more just and equitable society was unwavering.

As news of Christina's passing reverberated throughout the community, an outpouring of love and support flooded social media platforms, with friends, family, and acquaintances sharing fond memories and heartfelt tributes in her honor.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her cousin Christina Maddalena Gurdial; her parents, Bickram and Mary Grace Romano; her sibling Thomas; her grandparents, Maddalena, Salvatore Romano, Doreen and Mack Gurdial; her aunts and uncles, Josie (Gurinder), Mala (Mark) and Ravi (Nadia); and her cousins, Andrew, Christopher, Madeline, Michael, Anthony, Shane, Natasha and Reese.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Wilfrid's Church (1675 Finch Ave W, Toronto, ON M3J2G8). A burial will be held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4).
