Police are still trying to understand why Austin Owens’ vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, causing a deadly head-on crash.The incident happened just before 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, in Fulton Township, Lancaster County.

Owens, 32, tragically lost his life in a fatal crash along Robert Fulton Highway after his car veered across the center line and collided head-on with another vehicle. Emergency responders arrived swiftly, but despite their efforts, Owens was pronounced dead at the scene. The devastating accident forced authorities to close the roadway for several hours, as crash reconstruction teams and investigators worked meticulously to document the scene, gather evidence, and determine the cause of the collision.

As of now, officials have not provided an update on the condition of the other driver involved in the crash.
